What we offer
 |
Logistical support (fixing)
Whatever your needs we are pleased to discuss your
requirements. Enquiries are welcomed from film units, wildlife
photographers, government, independent or conservation bodies
undertaking wildlife studies such as survey or census work seabird/sea
mammal ringing, banding, tracking or tagging.
We can tailor an expedition to your specific requirements
This can be done either as a complete package to include everything
from permissions to boat charter or for just certain elements
of your trip. We have a wide range of back up and safety equipment
ranging from eco friendly igloo pre-fabricated pods to satellite
communication.
|
Guided trips:
If you have a group or you are a wildlife holiday company
we can offer one week of daily guided trips to include any or
all from St.Kilda, The Monachs, The Shiants, Mingulay, Haskeir
and various islands in the Sound of Harris like Shillay or Pabbay. |
This option is land-based and is a great alternative
for people wishing to visit these islands but not wanting to endure
the discomfort of sleeping on a small ship. Some days in the week
may be land based depending on weather conditions and requirements.
Or “An autumn special” to include three nights on The
Monachs at the height of Grey seal “pupping”.
Transfer is by Rib from North Uist which can carry twelve passengers.
 |
We can arrange:
• All transfers and services of a minibus& guide
• Accommodation in a large country house or hotel with
all meals included.
We can customise each island visit to your particular requirements
and include for example such things as a visit to Shillay
in the Monachs to witness the evening feeding frenzy of the
largest concentration of Black Guillimots in the UK.
