Join an Island Expeditions charter

There are usually a limited number of places available on each and applications are invited from anyone wishing to participate.
Selection/acceptance will depend on that person’s physical/mental ability gauged against any possible risk involved.
All participants on these expeditions will be expected to sign a waiver agreement disclaiming any liability to Island Expeditions Ltd and acknowledging the risks involved.

2011 January 8th- February 18th Voyage to the remote South Sandwich Islands

Voyage to the remote South Sandwich Islands archipelago on the “Golden Fleece” with Jerome Poncet. Also includes several landings on route on South Georgia.
Cost is £9200-00 Pounds Sterling for entire trip (including food) from Stanley-Stanley
£3000-00 Pounds Sterling required as reservation deposit with the remaining £6200-00 due by 30th April 2010. Cancellation insurance is not included and must be taken out together with SAR and evacuation insurance for expeditions covering this area of the Southern Ocean including Falklands, South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands sea area. Adequate specialized personal equipment and kit including dry suit and a high altitude mountain tent is the responsibility of the participant. This expedition is for a small group of five to seven people plus crew. A minimum of five participants are necessary for the expedition to take place. All monies paied will be refunded in full if the expedition does not take place.
